IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control Certification - Level 4, Well Site Supervisor Training

This course is designed to fulfill the requirements for International Well Control Forum (IWCF) Well Intervention Pressure Control Qualification. It is assumed that the individual attending this course fulfills the prerequisite requirements of this course. The program is aimed at persons in pressure control critical positions. Candidates are required to complete the IWCF accredited training course prior to sitting assessment. Course content will be taught according to the IWCF Well Intervention syllabus and will prepare candidates for the IWCF examinations and assessment. Assessment consists of:

  1. Completion Equipment (CP) Written Examination – Compulsory
  2. Principles & Procedures (P&P) Written Examination – Compulsory
  3. Wireline Equipment (WL) Written Examination – Optional
  4. Coiled Tubing Equipment (WL) Written Examination – Optional
  5. Snubbing Equipment (WL) Written Examination – Optional

IWCF certificates are valid for 2 years

  • Prerequisites

    Valid IWCF Level 2 – Drilling and Wells Personnel Basic Training

    AND

    Valid IWCF Level 3 – Drilling and Wells Personnel Training

    OR

    Valid IWCF Well Control (Supervisor) - Level 4

    Under special circumstances, dispensation to move from level-2 to level-4, or, to move direct to level-3 can be given. In both cases the candidate must have successfully completed an industry accepted/recognised training program such that they can pass a Level-3 Knowledge test at the accreditted center prior to enrollment on this Level-4 course.
