Petrel Proxy Modeling and Optimization

This course shows you how to get started using experimental designs with Petrel. Because running simulations is CPU intensive, there is a long tradition for designing computer experiments to reduce the number of runs necessary to assess the main relations between input parameters and computed response. In Petrel, you have several tools available that assist you in making surrogate models -- proxy models -- that can mimic your simulation model and that are cheap to evaluate. These models can be useful in sensitivity studies, assessment of development scenarios, and in optimization, for example, for completion attribute design. The Proxy Modeling and Optimization course is workflow based where prior Petrel knowledge is used to solve the tasks described.
