This 20-hour web-based training course, available on-line, describes the life cycle of the reservoir from formation of the hydrocarbon through how the oil and/or gas is trapped in the reservoir to the exploration process. Reservoir appraisal, development planning, execution of the development plan, and, finally, production operations follow. This course is an excellent introduction to the upstream petroleum industry.

Petroleum Economics on-line (PEO)

This 8-hour web-based training course, available on-line, presents the concepts of petroleum economics and risk analysis. Topics covered include cash-flow basics, revenue, expenditure, fiscal systems, risk analysis, and investment analysis.

Well Control Fundamentals (WCF)

This 9-hour web-based training course, available on-line, covers the fundamentals of well control; discussion of well control terms and equipment; well control situations and how to handle them; and understanding, avoiding, and managing well control problems.
