This 20-hour computer-based training (CBT) course, which is available on CD-ROM or for launch from a learning management system (LMS), describes the life cycle of the reservoir from formation of the hydrocarbon through how the oil and/or gas is trapped in the reservoir to the exploration process. Reservoir appraisal, development planning, execution of the development plan, and, finally, production operations follow. This course is an excellent introduction to the upstream petroleum industry.
