    Stuck Pipe and Hole Cleaning - VILT

    The Stuck Pipe and Hole Cleaning seminar is VILT (Virtual Instructor Led Training) delivered real time.  The course will be taught in 4 hours sessions over a 5 day period.

    The seminar will cover a practical overview of the stuck pipe mechanics, wellbore instability and detail emphasis in hole cleaning conditions, practices, procedures and monitoring.  The virtual seminar will include operational practices recommendations to enhance stuck pipe prevention.  

    Participants rich his practical knowledge through virtual group discussions, revision of real case histories and practical exercises.


    Day 1

    Stuck Pipe Mechanics  (4 hours session)

    • Solids Induced pack off
    • Differential pressure sticking
    Day 2

    Stuck Pipe Mechanics , Wellbore instability, Well engineering and offset well analysis (4 hours session)

    Day 3

    Hole Monitoring and recommended practices

    Hole Cleaning in Vertical and Low angle wells

    • Hole cleaning pre-test and Introduction
    • Fluids Mechanics and Rheology
    • Hole Cleaning in low and medium angle wells

    Day 5

    Hole Cleaning in Low, medium and horizontal wells and recommendations

    • Hole cleaning in Low and medium Angle Wells
    • Hole Cleaning in high angle and horizontal wells
    • Recommended practices for hole cleaning
    • Relationship between hole cleaning, ROP and stuck pipe risk
