Develop measurable skills and capabilities
This is a Remote Instructor Led Series (RILS)
training. The remote classroom delivery is a modality that takes advantage of the instructor led training content,
while allowing the same content to be delivered remotely.
All training sessions will be delivered online with no face-to-face classroom attendance.
The course focuses on Data Ecosystem Core Services and gives an overview of the compliance, entitlement, unit & CRS, storage and search services. It introduces the DELFI Developer Portal where participants learn about services and use RESTful API to access data in the ecosystem.
At the end of this course the participants will understand the concepts of data governance, access control, life cycle, frame of reference, storage and discovery and will be able to use APIs to access data in the ecosystem.
The course will be delivered over a total of eight (8) Hours; i.e. in two (2) sessions lasting four (4) Hours each.

Getting started with DELFI Developer Portal
Core Services (part 1)
At the end of this module the participants will understand the concepts of data governance (data ownership, security, residency and trade compliance), data access authorization and data normalization for data discovery (frame of reference) as well as how to use APIs for the compliance, entailment and unit & CRS services.
Day 2Session 2: Modules 3 & 4
(4 Hours)
Core Services (part 2)
At the end of this module the participant will understand how records are stored, structured and versioned in the data ecosystem. They will be familiar with the concept and usage of the schema as well as how data are indexed and normalized for discovery.
