This training aim to cover both front and back end, with a mix of lectures and hands-on sessions which structurally explains all DrillPlan technical aspects. DrillPlan is the 1st DELFI native solution available in the market and the new drilling planning solution commercially available by Schlumberger SIS.
During day 1, the solution access (on-boarding), project orchestration, workflows definition and some engineering taskswill be covered.Day 2
During day 2, the students will have the opportunity to dive-in with a variety of drilling engineering workflows including trajectory and casing designs, including load cases and kick tolerance. In addition, all aspects related to the time versus depth curve creation based on the offset well data, with the inclusion of risks and their impact for probabilistic analyses. The AFE workflow will be setup and the final report auto generated.
The target audience are Drilling Engineers, Well Control Engineers, Well Placement Engineers and/or others involved in the drilling planning phase.
