    Course Summary

    •  This course follows the official model of the International Maritime Organization (IMO OPRC) to train participants with the information necessary to carry out a rapid, planned, and effective response to an oil spill.
     Course Summary
    • This course is designed for on-site coordinators directing or supervising oil spill response personnel and those responsible for supporting field activities within an incident command or emergency team.
    • By completing this course, participants will be better prepared to:
        • Supervise and direct spill response personnel at the scene of the incident.
        • Implement oil containment and recovery techniques.
        • Protect the environment and communities.
        • Ensure the safety of responders.
        • Communicate and coordinate with different stakeholders.
