The Petrel Geophysics course is designed to provide detailed hands on training to the user on the data visualization, frequency spectrum, mis-tie analysis, volume rendering, check shot data quality control and conditioning, sonic log calibration, synthetic seismogram generation, time varying wavelet, Gardner’s patching: auto-complete reflection coefficient inputs, Reflection Coefficient (RC) modeling, wavelet toolbox, fault and horizon interpretation, seismic reconstruction 2D and finally, introduction to velocity modeling and domain conversion aspects of Petrel Geophysics.
The manual is based on Petrel 2017.1 release and will not include information about subsequent enhancements and modifications introduced in later releases.
