This is a Remote Instructor Led Series (RILS) training. The remote classroom delivery is a modality that takes advantage of the instructor led training content, while allowing the same content to be delivered remotely. All training sessions will be delivered online with no face-to-face classroom attendance.
The Petrel Geological Interpretation course leads the participants through a valuable learning experience about key geological interpretation workflows – well correlation, seismic interpretation, volume estimation, and uncertainty analysis – and their application in the Petrel™ subsurface software.
The geological interpretation workflow presented in this course is geared towards prospect assessment at the early stages of exploration, involving volumetric calculations based on surfaces created from well tops, seismic interpretations, or both.
The Petrel Geological Interpretation - RILS course will be delivered over a total of twenty-two (22) Hours; i.e. in five (5) sessions lasting 4.5 Hours each, and a third session which will last 4 Hours .
Each participant will need the following for an optimal experience of the course:
Customize your own learning journey and track your progress when you start using a defined learning path.
In just few simple steps, you can customize your own learning journey in the discipline of your interest, based on your immediate, intermediate and transitional goals. Once done, you can save it in NExTpert-the digital learning ecosystem-and track your progress.
ExploreGeoscientists, Geologists, Geophysicists and Engineers interested in 2D workflows using Petrel
