The purpose of this course is to provide a first approach to engineers and other technical personnel not directly involved in the Well Integrity Discipline of the whole concept and importance of Well Integrity along the well life cycle starting in the planning stage, following with its operational phase, until its last phase of its permanent abandonment.
The main goal is then to make the participants aware of the Well Integrity philosophy and to provide a basic understanding of principles and requirements of well barriers to all those who may be involved in well activities. That is, those who interact or “touch the well” in any way during its life.
