    Oil Processing and Conditioning

    Build a practical, end-to-end understanding of oil processing from the wellhead to product delivery. The course covers system concepts, selection and evaluation of processes/equipment to meet fluid specs, application of physical/thermodynamic property correlations, screening-level sizing of major equipment, and comparison of processing configurations for different applications. Daily topics include: production basics; wellhead/gathering systems; separation principles and sizing; oil-treatment fundamentals (dehydration, emulsions, gravity separation) and dehydration equipment (KO tanks, treaters, electrostatic coalescers); oil heaters and ASME criteria; crude-oil desalting; stabilization & sweetening; and storage & VRUs with safety, operations, and design considerations throughout

    This course is aimed at Process Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Instrumentation and Control Engineers, and Surface Facilities Project Engineers.
