    4D Reservoir Geomechanics

This four day course covers key concept and essential aspects of petroleum related geomechanics, and with a focus on making use of 4D reservoir geomechanics to address various technical challenges encountered during exploration and production of tough reservoirs.

This course will explain the physical process of rock deformation and failure and its implication to exploration and development. It will introduce the key workflows of reservoir geomechanics to deep water exploration and production, HPHT reservoirs, tight reservoir, fractured resevoir, and gas storage.

This course is set-up with easily understandable theoretical components as well practical hand-ons to ensure interactive and productive learning environment.

Petrophysicists, geophysicsts, geologists and reservoir engineers wish to know how to leverage reservoir geomechanics to better understand the tight reservoirs, fractured reservoirs and unconsolidated reservoirs, and effectively optimize exploration and production.

Applied knowledge of petroleum engineering is needed to gain the most from this class.
