Formation Damage mechanisms are discussed as an introduction to Acidzing. Hydraulic Fracturing is presented as a process to increase productivity of wells in tight formations. Both methods are explained in sandstones and carbonates formations and numerous exercises are included to facilitate the comprehension of concepts and their practical application.
