    Advanced Risk Management

    Introduction

    • A risk assessment is a process to identify potential hazards and analyze what could happen if a hazard occurs.
    • This course will help participants to understand each of the key steps of a risk assessment, including how to identify risks, manage hazards and determine the likelihood of harm, so that they are confident in carrying out a risk assessment on their own premises
    • Risk assessment training teaches participants what risk assessment is? As well as how and when to perform it.
    • It provides participants with an understanding of the benefits of comprehensive risk assessment
    Course Objective
After the end of the course each participant will be able to:
    • Identify risk measures and parameters for risk analysis and assessments.
    • Recognize the difference between hazard, risk, and risk assessment
    • Track and monitor HSSE risks and draft actions for risk mitigations.
    • Contribute to risk plans to reduce and prevent HSSE risks and issues.
    • Maintain and update risk registers and report critical risks.
    • Define the risk analysis and assessment concepts and approaches (release assessment, exposure assessments, and consequence assessment).
    • Determine the risk assessment requirements, situations and hazards to be considered a part of the assessment.
    • Determine the qualitative and quantitative data used in risk analysis and assessment.
    • Use appropriate tools and data to conduct risk assessments.
    • Analyze the conclusions and finding by explaining the likelihood of occurrence, defining risk categories, identifying risk pathways, the magnitude of consequences, estimating probabilities of identified risks, and understanding risk natures and outcomes.
