    Environmental Management & Sustainability

    Course Objective

    • To be able to effectively understand of Environmental Systems interconnectedness of environmental components, such as ecosystems, climate systems, and biodiversity, and to Gain awareness of current environmental challenges, including pollution, resource depletion, climate change, and habitat destruction. Understand the role of government regulations, international agreements, and corporate policies in environmental management and sustainability.
    • Develop skills to assess and mitigate the environmental impacts of human activities, such as industrial processes, infrastructure development, and land use changes.
    • Explore strategies for integrating sustainability into business operations, including green supply chain management, eco-design, and corporate social responsibility.
    • Learn effective communication and engagement strategies to involve stakeholders in environmental decision-making processes, including communities, governments, and businesses. Understand the economic aspects of environmental issues, including market failures, valuation of ecosystem services, and cost-benefit analysis of environmental policies.

    • Understanding air pollution sources and impacts.
    • Understanding water pollution sources and impacts.
