    ESP Workshop - Fundamentals

    Introduction to ESP fundamental concepts covering the theoretical foundations and the interrelation of all components making up this system. The course starts with a revision of production engineering fundamentals including nodal analysis then an overview of the various artificial Lift methods and finally concentrating on electrical submersible pumps and understanding each ESP component’s contribution to the overall system.

    The course is designed for Engineers working in production engineering and field operations.

    • Gain a basic understanding of ESP equipment and theory of operation.
    • Develop an understanding of the ESP components and their functions.
    • Learn the step-by-step design process of an ESP system.
    • Be able to discuss ESP designs and operations with office/field staff
    • Understand the variables of ESP Monitoring and diagnostics.

    Domain of mathematics, physics or general engineering. Oilfield exposure is beneficial.
