    Mechanical Lifting Level 1

    Course Objective:

    • To be able to safely work in areas where mechanical lifting operations are being performed.
    • Understand the key requirements of the Mechanical Lifting Standard.
    • Raise awareness of mechanical lifting hazards.
      • Provide sufficient information for personnel to know when to intervene and STOP the job.
    • Outline the standard approach to managing mechanical lifting operations.

    When required:
    • Before exposure to any activity that involves mechanical lifting (such as crane, or forklift operations)
    • This training is for all personnel involved in or exposed to mechanical lifting operations
