Advanced Driving Skills Course

The course is designed to develop deep understanding of advanced crash-prevention concepts and techniques, crash-mitigation strategy and tactics, and to practice skills associated with evasive action maneuvers during high-stress driving situations.

    The Course is designed for Drivers of Light Vehicles -- defined as standard sedans and light trucks, up to pickup trucks of 10,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight.  This particular course does not include training for towing trailers.

    This course is conducted at Schlumberger's Kellyville, Oklahoma Driving Safety Track.

  • Prerequisites

    An existing valid Driver’s License from a recognized authority is required.  There is an assumption that the candidate has driving experience, adequate hand-eye coordination and motor skills commensurate with the task of high-speed vehicle control during high-stress simulations.
