    Petrophysics for Drilling Engineers

This is a 5 day course that cab be delivered remotely using the the NExT (Remote Instructor Lead Series Method) or delivered in a traditional teaching environment.  The course covers an overview of geology, fundamentals of coring, core analysis and open hole well logging.  Well site quicklook log analysis is included so that participants can identify basic lithology, porosity, fluid type and fluid saturations.  Optional topics include reservoir properties that control fluid saturation, perforation methods, cement evaluation, an overview of petroleum fluid systems and/or wellbore stability.  Each day includes 1-2 hours of practical workshop examples. This course is suitable for all drilling engineers, directional drillers and other geoscientists associated with drilling that need a basic understanding petrophysics.  This course can be customized for private deliveries to focus on specific reservoir types.
