    This 5-day Advanced Reservoir Monitoring course covers every aspect of reservoir monitoring that includes:

    • Pulsed Neutron Logging (PNL) capture mode
    • PNL Inelastic (C/O) mode
    • Formation Resistivity (Rt) behind conductive (steel) casing
    • Formation Resistivity (Rt) behind non-conductive (plastic or fibreglass) casing
    • Field-wide water flood mapping
    • Log-Inject-Log to estimate the absolute residual oil saturation (Sro)
    • Cross-well electromagnetic water saturation mapping to monitor water flood movements.

    The course will also have 1-2 hours/day workshop sessions using 20 field data examples.

    This course will be suitable for Petrophysicists, reservoir engineers and production engineers that are involved in managing and optimising field production. Over the last few years, there has been large technology improvement in monitoring, and this will be covered in detail.

    Greater than 2 years of experience interpreting reservoir monitoring logs is recommended.  You are encouraged to bring difficult log examples for in-class discussion and interpretation.
