    Objectives
    • Upon the completion of the course, the learner will be able to;
    • The aim and objectives of the Confined Space Awareness / Entry training program are to ensure that personnel preparing to enter Confined Spaces are aware of the essential legislation/best working practices and safety requirements for Confined Spaces.

    • Awareness of Confined Space safe work practices.
    • Hazards of confined spaces.
    • Ability to recognize and identify a confined space.
    • Safe systems of work.
    • Break.
    • Permit to work procedures.
    • Atmospheric sampling, principles, and operations of gas testing equipment.
    • Understanding of the hazards associated with confined spaces.
    • Awareness of Health and hygiene aspects of the confined space environment.
    • An understanding of the personalities and their duties regarding confined space procedures.
    • Practical exercises using confined space equipment. Ability to identify and use specialist equipment. required for confined space Confined space entry exercise using escape sets. 
    • Written Assessment.
    • Assessment result declaration and certificate distribution to successful learners.

    • This course is designed to provide learners with an understanding and knowledge of hazards and associated risks for persons required to enter a confined space.
