    Course description

    • This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to become emergency first-aiders in the workplace. This qualification meets the requirements for training emergency first-aiders in those organizations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment.
    Activities
    • Classroom - Listening and contributing to discussions and exercises (group Discussions and workshops)
    • Written Assessment
    • Practical demonstration and assessment 
    Objectives
    • Understand the role and responsibilities of the first aider
    • Be able to assess the incident
    • Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is Breathing normally
    • Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is NOT Breathing normally
    • Be able to recognize and assist a choking casualty
    • Be able to manage casualty with external Bleeding
    • Be able to manage casualty in Shock condition
    • Be able to manage casualties with minor injuries
