    Environmental Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility in Energy Industry

    Course Objective

    • In the wake of increasing environmental challenges and societal demands for sustainable practices, Energy businesses are at the forefront of the movement towards sustainability. This course explores the critical role that corporations play in fostering environmental sustainability and the ethical considerations that underpin corporate responsibility.
    • Learners will gain an in-depth understanding of sustainable business practices, including the development and implementation of environmental policies, the integration of sustainability into corporate strategy, and the measurement and reporting of sustainability performance. Key topics include sustainable supply chain management, green marketing, corporate social responsibility (CSR), stakeholder engagement, and the circular economy.
    • Through case studies, real-world examples, and interactive projects, Learners will learn how leading companies are addressing environmental issues and driving positive change. The course will also cover frameworks and standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), ISO 14001, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
    • By the end of the course, Learners will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to lead sustainability initiatives within organizations, influence corporate behavior towards more ethical and environmentally friendly practices, and contribute to the creation of a sustainable future.
