    This 20  hour eLearning course describes the life-cycle of the reservoir from formation of the hydrocarbon to how that oil and/or gas is trapped in the reservoir to the exploration process, followed by the reservoir appraisal, development planning and execution of that plan and finally production operations. It is an excellent introduction to the upstream petroleum industry.

    During the course you will learn about:

    • People - the personnel involved in the oil and gas business and their functions;
    • Life-cycle - the various phases of exploration and production;
    • Technologies - the enabling technologies and processes required for successful exploitation of hydrocarbons;
    • The social, environmental and financial aspects of the oil and gas business.

    Anyone needing an introduction to the upstream petroleum industry.  Excellent for anyone with a non-technical background or little to no petroleum industry experience.
