    Process Safety HAZOP/HAZID/ENVID/OHID

    Course Description:
    • This course provides the participants with principles, requirements, activities, and actions for the operation of the safety of production surface facilities.
    • These training programs are short-term programs intended to help you refresh and build on your existing leadership skills in order to increase your leadership capacity in your current job – and in your next job.
    • The course is focused on process industries, designed to provide participants with the knowledge to facilitate HAZID processes.
By the end of the course the participant will learn how to:
    • Identify the potential occupational hazards in the working environment.
    • To assess the risk level and identify the control measures.
    • Identify the PSM Elements for leaders.
    • Developing PSM programs, Implementation, and planning
    • Risk ranking and Risk Register
    • Identify HAZOP Hazard and Operability Study method
    • Identify HAZID Hazard Identification and how to manage high-risk industries which require that all hazards with the potential to cause a major accident to be identified
    • Identify the potential environmental risks involved within the proposed scope of ENVID
    • Assess the environmental effects and their impacts
    • Understanding of the causes, consequences, and significance of environmental impacts.
    • Identify effective management & mitigation to eliminate/cut back impact from environmental aspects
    • Identify Occupational Health Hazards that lead to potential ill-health OHID
    • Identify the causes or contribute to causing those occupational Health Hazards
    • Identify physical hazards, chemical hazards, ergonomic Hazards
    • Identify existing engineering or operational controls
    • How to identify measures that are included in the design for prevention or mitigation
    • Where appropriate, identify additional prevention and/ or mitigation risk-reducing measures (RRMs) for improvement to meet the ALARP Concept

    • Those experienced in HAZID and risk assessment techniques, who are in or moving into HAZID leader roles.
