    ISO 14067:2018 – Greenhouse Gases — Carbon footprint of products

    Course Summary

    • A three-day course that provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to calculate PCF accurately and reliably following ISO 14067 guidelines.
    Course Objective
    • The objective of the course is to provide participants with the required knowledge of the principles, requirements, and guidelines for the quantification and reporting of the carbon footprint of a product (CFP), in a manner consistent with International Standards on life cycle assessment (LCA) (ISO 14040 and ISO 14044).

    • Introduction to ISO 14067

    • Defining the product system boundary
    • Identifying greenhouse gas emissions
    • Quantifying greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals
    • Quantifying greenhouse gas emissions for PCFs
    • Life cycle assessment (LCA) for PCF
    • Workshop: Case studies of ISO 14067 implementation

    • Data collection and management for PCFs
    • Reporting on product carbon footprints
    • Defining the product system boundary and identifying the relevant life cycle stages
    • Data quality and verification
    • Carbon offsetting and other climate action initiatives
    • Communicating and engaging with stakeholders
    • Workshop: Case studies of ISO 14067 implementation

    • Calculating PCFs for different types of products in accordance with ISO 14067
    • Verifying and reporting PCFs
