    Course Summary

    • A three-day course that provides guidance on the underlying principles of social responsibility, recognizing social responsibility and engaging stakeholders, the core subjects and issues pertaining to social responsibility, and ways to integrate socially responsible behavior into the organization.
    Course Objective
    • The objective of the course is to provide the participants with the required knowledge of social responsibility and how it contributes to the sustainable development of the organization. 
    Activities
    • Presentations and practical examples of the O&G industry, tests, and content reviews.
    The following topics will be discussed in the course:
    • How can social responsibility be integrated into all aspects of organizational management?
    • What is the role of leaders in promoting social responsibility within their organizations?
    • What are the challenges and opportunities that organizations face in implementing social responsibility?
    • What are the best practices for communicating and reporting on social responsibility performance?

    • This course is recommended for people interested in and/or responsible for participating in the organization's Social Responsibility Program.


    • Implementing the Social Responsibility Program in the organization. 
    • Tracking performance over time.
    • Communicating, reporting, and disclosure. 
    • Case studies of ISO 26000 implementation: 
      • How have other organizations implemented ISO 26000? 
      • What lessons can be learned from their experiences?

    • Basic understanding of social responsibility and/or sustainability.
    • Some experience in auditing or implementing management systems.
