Learning and practicing mindful awareness has been shown to decrease symptoms of stress, build confidence, and improve energy and enthusiasm. It has also been shown to assist leaders in facing the inevitable uncertainty and complexity of their role with a rational and calm thought process. This ability for calm under pressure in the midst of chaos is the hallmark of an influential and inspirational leader.
This workshop will builds off of the Mindful Leadership - Introduction workshop in which participants began the process of self-awareness leading to a personal leadership vision. Mindful Leadership – Advanced will have participants further exploring how their reactions, emotions, thoughts, and beliefs positively or negatively influence their work, relationships with colleagues, and work environment. This workshop will also explore how their view can create avenues to increased accountability, productivity, and overall wellness.
Mindful Leadership and Emotional Intelligence
Participants will practice strategies to further develop how to deal with difficult situations in a rational and calm manner. Then, participants will use their knowledge of personal vulnerabilities and strength, identified in the first workshop, to enhance their personal sphere of influence with peers and subordinates used to increase accountability and productivity.Day 2
Personal Leadership Vision
Participants will further explore the detrimental reactive patterns and how they influence the work environment. They will also begin to identify additional positive responses, actions, and behaviors used to enhance accountability, productivity, and overall personal and organizational wellness. Participants will continue to explore personal values as related to the personal leadership practice and build a personal leadership vision and purpose.
