This course covers the entireoilfield water cycle with emphasis on the subsurface aspects, including
Fundamental concepts are introducedso that participants are able to analyze water aspects of field performance andselect suitable solutions.
Presentations are made in a very interactive style where participants areencouraged to think about the issues and contribute with their own experience.Participants are encouraged to bring their own water challenges for discussionin class. A field case history of the ‘Aquarius’ field is used throughoutthe course so that participants gain experience of hands-on analysis and designin all aspects of the water cycle.

This course is suitable for practicing production and reservoir engineers interested in improving the water management of fields. Participants should be proficient in the use of Excel. Experience with OFM and Pipesim would be useful but not necessary.
Understanding of basic geological and reservoirconcepts. Proficient in Excel.
