Develop measurable skills and capabilities
This course will develop knowledge and understanding of the role played by uncertainty in geomodeling and provide a framework for optimum decision making using Petrel. It covers the statistical and geostatistical tools available for understanding and quantifying uncertainty and the considerations required when using them for reservoir characterization and model building.
Petrel will be used as the primary tool for investigating the complexities of uncertainty in geomodeling. This allows us to understand how best to use the cutting-edge geostatistical features of Petrel to construct geomodels which accurately reflect our level of confidence in data at each stage of the exploration and production.
Customize your own learning journey and track your progress when you start using a defined learning path.
In just few simple steps, you can customize your own learning journey in the discipline of your interest, based on your immediate, intermediate and transitional goals. Once done, you can save it in NExTpert-the digital learning ecosystem-and track your progress.
