    Process Safety Coaching and Development for the PS champions and Train the Trainer Skills

    • Course Description:
    • This course is designed to provide deep knowledge and tools on process safety.
    • The course covers all four pillars of process safety and the 20 elements of the risk-based process safety (RBPS).
    • The different methodologies to run Process Safety Analysis.
    • The course also go in detail in HAZOP and all methodologies for PHA and integration of different tools and methodologies in process safety management. 
    Course Objective
    • By the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to:
        • Value the importance of Risk-Based Process Safety (RBPS) and how it fits into business success
        • List and explain the four pillars and 20 elements of RBPS and describe their interaction.
        • Describe an RBPS management system that supports the culture, needs, and resources of your company.
        • Apply the 20 elements of RBPS design to your workplace by utilizing the accepted methods and resources.
        • Know Process Safety Roles & Responsibilities and accountabilities
        • Advanced Concepts for Process Hazards.
        • Compare the different types of process hazard analysis techniques including an introduction to HAZOP study methodology to determine what can go wrong.
        • Selection of a PHA method that is appropriate to the complexity of the process under study.
        • Describe how process safety management should be used in coordination with process design and plant operations.
        • Explain the importance of inherently safer processes during plant design along with risk analysis and management.
        • Overview of the concept of layers of protection to prevent and/or mitigate loss of containment events.
        • Discuss the principles of Risk Analysis and Risk Management.
        • Apply the anatomy of a process safety incident.
        • Identify what can go wrong with a procedure-based operation.
