Develop measurable skills and capabilities
Microseismic, Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) and Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) are techniques used in real-time to estimate the direction and coverture of hydraulic fractures and their dimensions. These techniques are used in sandstones, carbonates and in unconventional formations, allowing the calibration and real-time correction of operational design, playing also an important role in the evaluation of results and in the development of future operations.
This 5-day course discusses Microseismic, during the first two days, and DTS/DAS during the following three days.
Two experienced instructors are used: one for the Microseismic part, and one for the DTS/DAS part.
