This course is design to teach participants how to use the different statistical tools in Techlog to analyze data to find similarities between wells, and to group wells. Participants will learn about statistical techniques to create classification models and curve reconstruction models that can be calibrated against geological data and applied over multiple wells in the field. Participants will learn how to use these tools in rock typing and petrophysical evaluations. 

In this course participants will learn how to use the following statistical tools, IPSOM, Kmod, MLP classification, HRA, ANCOR, Factor Analysis, Multilinear regressions etc

• Neural Networks: Unsupervised Learning and Indexation using IPSOM
• Factor Analysis: Linear Discrimination Analysis
• Supervised Indexation using IPSOM
• Factor Analysis: Multiple Correspondence Analysis
• Neural Networks: Supervised Learning using Multi-Layer Perceptron
• Neural Networks: Curve Reconstruction using K.Mod
